CELEBRATE!!!!

Since we are a year-round school we get a break after each quarter. In honor of our hard work we have a special celebration. We celebrated the end of this quarter with a fall theme. We made funny "leaf people", had a snack of juice, chips, and s'mores cookies, decorated cookies with fall colors (to take home for later), and listened to fall stories. We had lots of help from parents, grandparents, and siblings. Thanks for helping us to celebrate in such a fun way!

Learning can be fun,too!

We have been learning about our alphabet letters, the sounds they make, and the order in which they come. Mrs. Parker says that we're doing a great job and she is very proud of us!

Fun Run

Each year our school has a Fun Run to raise money. We get parents, family, and friends to sponsor us for each lap we run or walk. It's a great way to raise money and we have tons of fun! Thanks to all of the family and friends who came to support us!

Center Fun

Center time is one of our favorite daily activities. We use our imaginations and have a lot of fun with our friends. We get a little loud sometimes, but Mrs. Parker says that is just learning at it's best!

Reading Buddies: If You Give a Pig a Pancake

Our 4th grade reading buddies from Miss Quinn's class planned a special surprise for us! They read us the book If You Give a Pig a Pancake and then helped us make pigs to eat! We used pancakes, whipped cream (made pink with food coloring), bananas, chocolate chips, and strawberries. They were delicious! Thanks Buddies!! We love you!
